Kanto Power Plant

Location of Power Plant in the Kanto region

Kanto Power Plant Map

Map of Power Plant

The Power Plant is found in the Kanto region and it can only be accessed by surfing from Route 9. Being filled with debris and mechanical objects, it is home to a few types of Electric Pokémon and home to the legendary bird Zapdos. Being an abandoned building, no Pokémon trainers reside in here.

Prior to beating all Kanto and Johto gyms you can grind here for electric type pokemon.

To enter the basement you need all Kanto and Johto gym badges

Zapdos, the legendary bird can be encountered at a very small chance in this Power Plant Basement if a Feather of Zapdos is held by the alive and leading Pokemon in the party. By killing any wild pokemon with the lead being any Electric-type pokemon in the basement there is a 1/9000 chance of it dropping a Feather of Zapdos, Once the feather is held by the lead pokemon there will be a very small chance of a Zapdos appearing to the player!
